Abstract
This study aimed to develop an ESP32-based portable multisensor integrated with an RS485 multi-soil sensor for real-time soil parameter monitoring. The system consists of a soil sensor, RS485–TTL module, ESP32, rechargeable battery, and Android application connected through a local Wi-Fi network, enabling operation without internet access. The device simultaneously measures soil temperature, moisture, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K). Testing was conducted using five soil samples collected from several locations in Bali, with three measurements performed for each sample. Sensor measurements were compared with laboratory analysis and evaluated using R², RMSE, MAE, and MAPE. The results showed R² values ranging from 0.773 to 0.999 and MAPE values from 0.37% to 3.73%. All MAPE values were below 5%, indicating good agreement with laboratory measurements. The system has potential for rapid, real-time soil parameter monitoring.
